Elibility1)He/She must have passed minimum 4th standard.2)The applicant must have completed the age of 15 years at the time of registering his/her name with Board.
3)lf the applicant desires to appear in March/April exami­nation, his/her name should not be on the roll of any re­cognized secondary school on and after the 1st July of the same academic year and in case of October examination his or her name should not be on the roll of any recognized secondary school from 1 st July of the preceding academic year. He/She should have been resident in Maharashtra for a period of not less than two years prior to the date of the commencement of the S.S.C.

Requirements :
1) The Original Leaving Certificate of the recognized school last attended (i.e. the leaving certificate issued by the school for the first time) and /or the duplicate leaving Certificate from the recognized school last attended plus an affidavit that the applicant did not join any recognized secondary school subsequent to the date of his leaving the school as shown in the Duplicate leaving certificate.

Leaving Certificate from a school outside Bombay Board should be counter-signed by the Education Officer/Inspector. 2) 5 Passport size photos.
